Summary: The Testamentum Salomonis is a late apocryphal work probably written by a Christian author of the third century of our era. The Testament tells of the marvels of Solomon hunting the demons. This aspect of ancient of demonology goes back to Greek mythographic cycles, but our author utilized also Judic Haccadic materials, as well as alien traditions coming upfrom “Aramaean-Iranian” environment.
