On August 10, 2019, at 8:00 pm, at St. Elizabeth parish church (1500 34th Avenue) prof. Martín Carbajo Núñez, OFM will hold a bilingual conference (in English and Spanish) on Saint Clare of Assisi. We will comment some texts by Clare a these:
•Indeed, in that mirror, blessed poverty, holy humility, and inexpressible charity shine forth as, with the grace of God, you will be able to contemplate them throughout the entire mirror. (v. 18)
•Finally contemplate, in the depth of this same mirror, the ineffable charity that He chose to suffer on the tree of the Cross and to die there the most shameful kind of death. (4th letter to Agnes of Prague, v. 23)
