Brief description of the course

- The course presents the Franciscan roots of the encyclical Laudato si' and of integral ecology. Francis of Assisi is universally recognized as a model and inspiration for all those who try to live in a harmonious relationship with nature. The Franciscan school has articulated his intuitions, laying the foundations of a fraternal approach to ecology that surpasses both the dispotic anthropocentrism and the ecology of administration. We cannot consider ourselves as despotic dominators not even a simple stewards, but rather as brothers and sisters, joyfully responsible for the common house
