On June 12, 2025, prof. Martín Carbajo Núñez, OFM, will participate in the
9th International Symposium on the family as a lecturer.
The general subject of this Symposium will be: "(R)evolution of marriage and family in the era of new technologies. Interdisciplinary reflections". The Symposium is organized by the university of Warmia Ymazury (www.uwm.edu.pl), in Olsztyn (Poland). These are some of the posible topics :
- building bonds in the real and virtual world,
- cybersecurity in the world of the child and in the world of parents,
- spirituality in the virtual world,
- technology as a tool to support marriage,
- device addiction and its impact on interpersonal relationships,
- boundaries of fidelity in the virtual world,
- technology and intimacy, ethical and moral aspects, security of sensitive information,
- social media, AI and marital or parental reality,
- the impact of technology on raising children,
The aim of the symposium is to meet specialists from various research areas to find an integral platform of familiological research.
This will be the eigth consecutive time that Prof. Carbajo is invited to this annual symposium by the University of Olsztyn.
