Prof. Martín Carbajo Núñez, ofm, will have the central conference at the meeting organized in Rome by the JPIC Commission (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation) of the Union of Superiors General (USG / UISG), on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the encyclical Laudato si'. Prof. Carbajo will talk about the theme " Integral ecology and communication in the digital age".
In addition to this conference, which is expected to last about 50 minutes, there will be other two interventions of about 20 minutes. Fr Amado Picardal, CSsR, executive co-secretary of the JPIC Commission, will be talking about: " Promoting Integral Ecology in Social Media". Later on, Sister Bernadette Reis, FSP, from the Vatican Dicastery on Social Communication, will talk about " Mass Media and Integral Ecology".
The meeting will be held at the Aula Magna of La Salle Center, via Aurelia 476, Rome, Finally, the meeting was held online, as a Webinar, using the Zoom video system. from 9:00 to 12:00 a.m. on May 16, 2020. There will be simultaneous translation into several languages.
