Prof. Martín Carbajo Núñez will be the ponent prindipal of the Week of Franciscan Studies organized by the Franciscan Family of Peru in Lima, Peru, Oct. 10-13, 2023. The event is addressed to religious and laity, on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the approbation of the Franciscan Rule and the the living nativity of Christ that St. Francis celebrated in Greccio. The meetings will be held daily from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Coliseum of the School "San Antonio de Padua", Jr. Luis N. Saenz, nº 574, Jesús Maria, Lima (Peru).
This will be the third week entrusted to Prof. Carbajo, who had already held one from Sept. 1-5, 2014, and another three years later, Sept. 11-15, 2017. On 10.09.2011, he had already held a conference at the Franciscan Center of Peru. The large number of participants speak well of the success of these two events, which were then continued with the publication of the proceedings. The Covid-19 pandemic had forced the interruption of these Formation weeks, which now resume.
Each day will consist of a keynote lecture given by Prof. Martín Carbajo Núñez, O.F.M., and a panel discussion with specialists in the field.
