On November 12, 2024, Prof. Martín Carbajo Núñez gave a talk to Franciscan friars in formation in San Diego, USA. The title of the talk was: "Authority: Mothers Who Care for Life." St. Francis of Assisi, in his Later Rule and earlier teachings, emphasized that those in authority should serve this life-giving process, acting as mothers who nurture life (part 2).
Prof. Carbajo also highlighted the contemporary relevance of the Rule and the need for inspiring leadership that fosters transformative processes to address the current challenges facing religious life. ( Video)
