Summary — The article takes into consideration the needs and trends of current exegesis concerning the final series of redactions which cover the historical Books Genesis-2 Kings. With 2 Kings 25:27-30, as a starting point, the article proceeds in a backward movement examining the narrative thread in the previous Books. The movement proceeds from the deute-ronomistic area to that of the Pentateuch going finally towards Genesis 41:37-46, almost casting a shadow of the Jojachin amnisty and the deep problems of the Exile Period.
