From Boniface VIII (1294-1303) to Sixtus IV (1471-1484): The functional rationalisation of relations between the seculars and regulars in concerning the cure of souls. 4. Consequences and conclusions: Disciplinary and organisational, but not operative, independence of the Mendicants in pastoral care.
