Summary: The Author proposes a reading in depth of this central document of the body of writing attributed to the mystic Angela da Foligno (1248-1309) as being, much more than another, the expression of a unique theology founded in the mystycal relationship with God that it discoses. Extensively referring to, and building upon, existing scholarship on the corpus of writing, with the benefit of the critical edition, the Author highlights this document's "prophetic" dimension, not in the first place for its actual content, which is yet not fully explored, but for the model of the relationship between God and he soul that it presents.
