De activa indole maternitatis secundum beatum Ioannem Duns Scotum,

Summary: This article was written to demonstrate the noteworthy contribution of Blessed John Duns Scotus to clarify the intrinsic mark of motherhood. Affirming the activity of the woman against the widespread Aristotelian-Thomistic opinion of the mere passivity of motherhood, the Franciscan Doctor also in this matter turned out to be an especially enlightened theologian, whose doctrine in modern times has been confirmed not only by the Catholic theology, but also by the medical and psychological sciences.
