SUMMARY: Through the diacronic analysis of the prophecy of Nathan to king David, in the respective context of the deuteronomistic history and that of the Chronicler, the author of this study arrives at the conclusion that, at the end of the developement in the use of the oracle, the content of the original one remained the same.
