Summary: A human being is in his essence a being of relationships, a being of dialogue, which is why everyone, consciously or subconsciously, unstoppably longs for a relationship with a fellow human being and God. We therefore claim that a relationship contains sacred dimensions which carry also an unstoppable longing for salvation. In this article we demonstrate this salvational dimension of human experience in psychoanalytic setting, namely in relational family therapy.
